Jim Filicetti, CPA President/Owner
Jim Filicetti has a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin and is a member of both the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to founding KJ Tax & Accounting, Jim spent many years in public accounting and in the private sector in positions ranging from Controller of a building materials company to Chief Financial Officer in a large manufacturing firm. Jim is a CPA, registered to practice before the IRS. Thus, one of his many specialties at KJ's is in assisting clients with their tax deficiencies. He's been very successful in settling hundreds of state and federal cases to his clients' satisfaction. Jim also is the primary contact for addressing new business start up issues and all financial consulting needs--from personal to corporate issues alike. Additionally, he serves as one of the final reviewer of tax returns once completed by his--albeit quite capable--team! Further, Jim is an Intuit Solution Provider and a Certified Quickbooks® Proadvisor. Jim is passionate about helping others.
Kathy Filicetti has a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin and is a member of both the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has many years of practical business experience at the Senior Accountant level. At KJ Tax, Kathy specializes in dealing with the more highly technical tax issues and complicated types of tax returns. Kathy is extremely valuable in the financial field. With her natural ability to help clients with wealth planning and with the ability to blend tax planning with it, Kathy does a great job in keeping our clients wealth projections on track.
Bobbi Thomas has over 20 plus years of accounting experience, primarily in the accounts payable and accounts receivable areas. She joined KJ in November 2002. She has the professional ability to be extremely detail oriented, friendly and extremely helpful to all of our clients and vendors. Being office manager, Bobbi is pulled in many directions. Yet, she has the ability to hold it together and prvide excellent client service. In addition to handling many of KJ's internal operations, Bobbi interfaces with all clients by scheduling all appointments, handling new client registrations, overseeing the invoicing system, distributing client documents, and answering the phones.
Pat Formanek has a B.B.A. in Accounting and has worked in the financial field for over 30 years. Throughout, she has provided accounting services on her own to dozens of small businesses. Pat joined KJ in September 2002, after having spent the five prior years preparing taxes at an H&R Block office. She also took on the responsibility of Branch Manager during her last two years there. Here at KJ Tax, Pat is considered the "Jack of all Trades," accounting- and tax-wise, that is. She handles everything from basic bookkeeping services, to reconciling bank statements, to financial statement preparations, and much, much more! Dave Hansen, CPA, MBA has years of expertise in tax, accounting and finance. He recently earned his MBA in Finance and Management. Dave Hansen is a CPA and MBA with 18 years of accounting experience in both public accounting and private industry. Joanne Fritsch earned a B.S. in Accounting from Carroll College in 1990 and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1992. She worked as an auditor in a local public accounting firm for eight years and has approximately four years of experience in the private sector, as well. She has been with KJ Tax and Accounting since 2004 and focuses on serving corporate clients by assisting them with financial statement presentation and tax preparation. Joanne is extremely reliable and detailed oriented. She takes the time to assure tax returns are done correctly, the first time. We need a patient, thought provoking CPA on our team and Joanne fills that need. She is a great asset to our firm.
Robyn Hansen is a gradute of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has years of experience in public accounting working with small to medium size companies. Her attention to detail coupled with the understanding of the cost-benefit relationship provides clients with a quality product in a timely manner. She is the ideal person to help you with any bookkeeping needs.
